I’m 29 years old (for a few more minutes, anyway) and I thought of the concept for this blog about a week before Easter. Friends of mine started putting up blogs, and I when I mentioned my idea for this one, people seemed interested. Female people mainly, of course. Most of them look at me with a wide-eyed astonishment, flabberghasted that someone, me in particular, would even try to do such a thing. Some suspected that I must have a shopping problem, or be struggling somehow. I am not rich, but I certainly can’t complain.
I will do my best to carry out the experiment faithfully, and if I fail, I’ll post my shame that day. The blog will be updated daily with a photo of what I wore, or possibly the pile of things I did not wear and the tearful mess I may have become.
I have a lot of clothes, but not more than the average woman my age and socioeconomic strata. I probably have more shoes than many, but most of them are not very versatile. I have maybe ten handbags. Although I pride myself on the selection of articles that suit me and will stand the test of time, I do regularly get rid of things I’m not wearing anymore, so I am not a hoarder.
