I’m getting lots of spam now, and I got my first pingbacks. I googled it but I still don’t totally understand it. Why does spam happen, and where does it come from?

Now I am frustrated by the amount of padding surrounding the pictures. I got a new theme, though, and I like it much more. I guess it will take me awile to learn how to manipulate the code so that: The captions are in a smaller and tighter font than the text of the entry, and also, as I said, I want more padding…

Last night I spent hours trying to figure out how to download a theme and upload it to my webpage. I felt really proud of myself that I figured it out.
Tonight, I tried to edit the code so that the page would actually look like the one I intended based on the demo provided by the person that wrote the code for the theme I chose. No matter what I do, I can’t change the color or the font. I did, however, manage to change the size of the title.
I am going to try to teach myself the skills I need to do that. I suppose that means I am already learning something from not buying clothes.
